Paul Cadmus

The great American painter and draftsman, Paul Cadmus, was an acquaintance of the sculptor and agreed to sit for a portrait. Just before his death, Cadmus saw and approved of the likeness, although he jokingly asked for a slight face lift. The piece is in the permanent collection of the National Portrait Gallery, Washington DC.
